Listing visuals for HELAVIS’s black-and-white bottle set: a magnetic phone mount built into the lid, a straw bottle and a hot-drink bottle, then A+ modules and a Brand Story. The same visual areas were A/B tested on the listing.
Overview
HELAVIS sells this as a 2-pack of 25 oz / 750 ml insulated stainless bottles. The white bottle has a straw lid. The black bottle has a hot-drink lid. Both lids carry a ring that holds a phone, so the bottle can sit in a cupholder or on a mat and work as a stand for GPS, a workout, or a call.
The set on the art also includes two adhesive magnetic rings, a sticker sheet, and a thank-you card. On Amazon the listing is the Helavis Water Bottle 2-Pack with Magnetic Phone Mount, with a straw lid and a hot-drink lid, for vlogging, navigation, and hands-free calls.
My Role
I designed the visual parts of the Amazon listing, then ran A/B tests on those visuals.
The design covers the main image gallery, the A+ modules, and the Brand Story. The tests compared alternate treatments of the main image, the secondary images, and the A+ modules.
Challenge
The thumbnail has to read as one product while showing two bottles, two different lids, and a phone locked to the white lid. Later frames have to explain the mount: MagSafe phones attach directly, other phones use the included rings, on the phone or on a case.
The rest of the story is use, not just the object. The bottle has to look at home in a car cupholder, a gym, and a kitchen, and the lid ring has to read as a handle as well as a mount.
Process
- Main images first. A white-background hero with the phone on the straw lid, then benefit, size, ring instructions, in-use, hot-and-cold, and what’s in the box.
- A+ Content next. A wordmark, a running scene with both colors, the clear straw, a durability frame, car and carry shots, and the gift box.
- Brand Story last. A water-and-mountain brand field, then cards for the pair, the mount, the straw, and the dishwasher.
- After the visuals were on the listing, A/B tests on the main image, the secondary images, and the A+ modules.
Main Images
Seven square listing images. The hero stays on white so both bottles and the phone mount read at thumbnail size.

A+ Content
Wide modules under the listing. The wordmark leads, then lifestyle, the straw, durability, everyday carry, and the gift.

Brand Story
A wide brand field, then cards. The field puts both bottles in the water under the HELAVIS wordmark.

A/B Testing
After the visuals were designed, they were A/B tested with Amazon’s listing experiments. Each test compared one visual treatment with another on the same part of the listing: the main image, the secondary images, and the A+ modules.
The tests were there to learn which treatment shoppers responded to. This page does not report a winner or a metric. Those stay in the experiment history.
