A full visual system for RYLIQUE’s Amazon listing: the main image set, A+ Content, and Brand Story for a black-and-gold faux leather handbag that can be carried by its top handle, a gold chain, or a webbing strap. The same visuals were then A/B tested on the listing.
Overview
This project is RYLIQUE’s crossbody handbag: an octagonal black faux leather bag with gold metal trim, a twisted top handle, and a metal lock closure. It ships with a gold metal chain, an adjustable webbing strap, and a gold RYLIQUE keychain, in a black gift box, and it comes in black, brown, and cream.
On Amazon the product is listed as a faux leather crossbody and shoulder purse with a top handle and interchangeable straps, for casual outings, daily errands, or dressier events.
My Role
I designed the visual parts of the Amazon listing, then ran A/B tests on those visuals.
The design covers three listing surfaces: the main image gallery, A+ Content below the buy box, and the Brand Story. The tests compared alternate treatments of the main image, the secondary images, and the A+ modules.
Challenge
A black handbag is hard to photograph and easy to lose in a thumbnail. The images had to show the details that make this one different: the gold-trimmed octagon shape, the twisted handle, and the three ways to carry it: by hand, on a chain, or on a wide strap.
The A+ modules and Brand Story then had to sell the feel: evening light, marble, a gift box, and real styling, so the bag reads as an accessory for an occasion and not just a purse.
Process
- Main images first. A white-background hero of the bag with its box, straps, chain, and keychain, then square images for the reasons to choose it, size, and three carry modes shown on models: clutch, chain, and webbing strap. The set closes with an interior view.
- A+ Content next. A logo bar, then wide modules for a marble hero, a material close-up, an evening lifestyle scene, the three colors, and gifting.
- Brand Story last. A gold-lit brand field with the bag on a pedestal, and cards for the handle, chain, strap, keychain, and a closing hero.
- After the visuals were on the listing, A/B tests on the main image, the secondary images, and the A+ modules.
Main Images
Seven square listing images. The hero stays on white so the bag and every accessory are clear at thumbnail size. The frames after it answer the questions shoppers ask before buying a bag: what is it made of, how big is it, and how can I wear it.

A+ Content
Wide modules under the listing. The logo bar leads, then a marble hero, a material close-up, an evening lifestyle scene, the three colors, and a gifting close.

Brand Story
Amazon Brand Story uses a wide brand image and a row of cards. The field is a warm gold spotlight on a black background, with the bag on a pedestal and the RYLIQUE wordmark. The welcome card is set in RYLIQUE’s own words, and the other cards show the details that matter most: the handle, the chain, the strap, and the keychain.

A/B Testing
After the visuals were designed, they were A/B tested with Amazon’s listing experiments. Each test compared one visual treatment with another on the same part of the listing: the main image, the secondary images, and the A+ modules.
The tests were there to learn which treatment shoppers responded to. This page does not report a winner or a metric. Those stay in the experiment history.
