A full visual system for FLAVIVO’s Amazon listing: the main image set, A+ Content, and Brand Story for a wood-and-acrylic salt and pepper grinder pair with a matching tray. The same visuals were then A/B tested on the listing.
Overview
FLAVIVO makes home and kitchen essentials under the line “Elevate Every Meal, One Twist at a Time.” This project is the Premium Salt & Pepper Grinder Set: two 8-inch manual grinders with natural wood caps and bases, clear acrylic bodies, an adjustable ceramic grinding core, and a wooden tray that holds both, packed in a black gift box.
On Amazon the product is listed as the FLAVIVO Wooden Salt and Pepper Grinder Set — manual acrylic mills with an adjustable ceramic core and wooden stand, 8-inch, refillable and giftable, two pieces with tray.
My Role
I designed the visual parts of the Amazon listing, then ran A/B tests on those visuals.
The design covers three listing surfaces: the main image gallery, A+ Content below the buy box, and the Brand Story. The tests compared alternate treatments of the main image, the secondary images, and the A+ modules.
Challenge
At thumbnail size, one salt and pepper grinder pair can look like any other. The images had to show what sets this set apart: the see-through acrylic window, the three grind settings, the ceramic core, the matching tray, and the gift box. They also had to keep the warm wood and black-and-white FLAVIVO identity consistent from thumbnail to brand page.
The A+ modules and Brand Story then had to move from product facts to mood: real kitchen scenes, food, and gifting, so the set reads as a premium kitchen piece and not just a utility item.
Process
- Main images first. A clean white hero of the pair, tray, and gift box, then square infographics for a side-by-side comparison, exact dimensions, the grinding mechanism, a four-step refill guide, gift packaging, and an in-use kitchen scene.
- A+ Content next. A logo bar with the brand line, then wide modules for a lifestyle opener, materials and craftsmanship, seasoning, the matching tray, grind adjustment and refilling, and gifting.
- Brand Story last. A rustic kitchen brand field, a welcome card in the brand’s own words, and image cards for use, the tray, gifting, and food.
- After the visuals were on the listing, A/B tests on the main image, the secondary images, and the A+ modules.
Main Images
Seven square listing images. The hero stays on white so the pair and tray are clear at thumbnail size. The frames after it answer the questions shoppers ask before buying a grinder: how big, how it grinds, how to refill, and whether it works as a gift.

A+ Content
Wide modules under the listing. The logo bar leads, then a lifestyle opener, materials, seasoning, the tray, grind adjustment, and gifting.

Brand Story
Amazon Brand Story uses a wide brand image and a row of cards. The field is a rustic kitchen counter with the grinders, fresh ingredients, and the FLAVIVO wordmark. The welcome card is set in FLAVIVO’s own words.

A/B Testing
After the visuals were designed, they were A/B tested with Amazon’s listing experiments. Each test compared one visual treatment with another on the same part of the listing: the main image, the secondary images, and the A+ modules.
The tests were there to learn which treatment shoppers responded to. This page does not report a winner or a metric. Those stay in the experiment history.
